Terms of Use

1. About StockParser

StockParser (“StockParser”, “we”, “us”) provides a web-based market analytics workspace for Indian markets: market data views, custom scanners, a strategy builder, charts, alerts, a paper-trading desk and AI-assisted features (together, the “Service”). StockParser is operated from India. Once our business registration is complete, the registered entity’s details will be published on our Contact page.

2. Pilot

The Service is currently offered as a private pilot, by invitation and free of charge. During the pilot, features may be added, changed or withdrawn, and the Service may be unavailable at times while we improve it.

3. Not investment advice

StockParser is a software tool. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing in the Service is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security. Scanner results, indicators, statistics and AI-generated text describe data; they do not tell you what to do. Please read our Risk Disclaimer.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
• Provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@stockparser.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell, redistribute or publish market data or output from the Service, except as the Service itself allows;
• share your account, or use the Service on behalf of others without our written agreement;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
• probe, scan, overload or interfere with our systems, or bypass any limit or security measure;
• use the Service in breach of any law, exchange rule or SEBI regulation.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

6. Market data and third-party content

Market data, filings and news reach us from exchanges and third-party providers. They may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and their owners retain all rights in them. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data. Always verify information with your broker or the exchange before acting on it.

7. AI features

AI-assisted features generate text and suggested conditions automatically. Their output can be incomplete or wrong. Review anything they produce before you rely on it; you remain responsible for how you use it.

8. Your content

Scanners, strategies, watchlists and notes you create remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the Service to you. If you choose to share or publish something within the Service, you allow other users to view and copy it within the Service.

9. Fees

The pilot is free. If we introduce paid plans, their prices and terms will be shown clearly before you subscribe, and nothing will be charged without your explicit consent.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the StockParser name, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These terms do not give you any right to use our name or logo.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, outages and third-party data failures can and will happen. We may change or discontinue any part of the Service.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading or investment loss, loss of profit, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you have not paid us anything.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

15. Ending these terms

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service; where reasonable, we will tell you in advance by email.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the competent courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
