Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

StockParser (“StockParser”, “we”, “us”) runs the website stockparser.in and the StockParser web application. StockParser is in a private pilot and is operated from India. Once our business registration is complete, the registered entity’s details will be published on our Contact page.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to personal data we process when you visit our website, create an account, use the application, or write to us. It is written to meet the requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

3. Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and mobile number. We use them to create your account, send sign-in codes and keep your account secure.
• What you create in the product — scanners, strategies, watchlists, alerts, chart layouts and paper-desk activity, so the product works across your devices.
• Messages you send us — emails and support requests, and our replies.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, request identifiers, timestamps and error logs, used to run, secure and debug the service.
• Notification details — if you choose to receive alerts by push notification or Telegram, the identifiers needed to deliver them.
• Payment records — only if paid plans are introduced: plan, amount, invoice details and the payment provider’s reference. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.

4. How we use it

• To provide the service you signed up for, and keep it working across your devices.
• To verify your identity at sign-in and protect your account against misuse.
• To send service messages — sign-in codes, replies to your requests, and the alerts you have switched on.
• To understand how the product is used, fix problems and improve features.
• To meet our legal obligations, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We process your data on the basis of your consent and for the legitimate uses permitted by law. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. AI features

Some features use artificial-intelligence services to turn plain English into scanner conditions or to explain market data. The text you type into these features, together with the relevant market data, may be sent to an AI service provider to produce the answer. We do not send your contact details with these requests. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into AI features.

6. Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run StockParser, and only what each one needs:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers and databases.
• Email, notification and messaging providers that deliver the messages you have asked for.
• AI service providers, for the features described above.
• A payment provider, only if paid plans are introduced.
• Government or regulatory authorities, where the law requires it.

Each provider processes data on our instructions and under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and local storage to remember preferences such as your theme or chart layout. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

8. Where your data is stored

Our servers are located in India. Some service providers may process data outside India; where they do, it is done in the manner permitted under Indian law.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal details are erased and the content you created is removed, except where the law requires us to keep certain records (for example, tax records if paid plans are introduced), which are kept only for the period required.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords and sign-in codes are never stored in plain text, and access to production systems is limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal-data breach affects you, we will inform you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

11. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update it;
• ask us to erase it, or delete your account yourself from the application settings;
• withdraw consent for optional messages at any time;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and
• raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights, email grievance@stockparser.in from the email address registered with your account.

12. Children

StockParser is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please write to us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you by email or in the application before it takes effect.
